This came to me while I was in that stage of sleep when your not awake or asleep.
+ H. L2 |. }* ^8 qI cut out the side of a Zippo. Trimmed bits off the car to make it fit. It has a nice rake look
2 I( z; v) g* [, Pto it. Although this is done, it's not finished. There will be a decal applied around the
transmitter. There are two red LED's on the transmitter that will be changed to blue. And
4 J- r& H& }  w) ^9 wthe buttons will light up blue. A small wooden case will be made for it as well.
I did make a mistake on this. I cut the wrong side off. So now when you look at the
the bottom stamp, it's upside down. Oh, well.

6 R- H, ^: W" ZThis was one of those projects I wanted to see if I could do. With all of my projects I used a Ronson
lighter as a Prototype. I then made one out of a Zippo. I was able to build a very simple circuit to
1 B2 J( f! M2 S8 \7 q! j  hmake the LED change from RED to GREEN. The antennae had to be taken completely
apart, each shaft was cut down, and then the final pieces had to be put back together.
& O) S8 v! z. B0 D4 p5 u5 G- J7 OThere was one design change from the Prototype to the final product.
In the Prototype I had a press ON / press Off switch. I glued this inside the insert
/ T' V: o) a0 F1 o2 G+ Iunder the Cam. I drilled a hole through the top of the insert, right where the Cam
met the Cam Spring. A piece of paperclip was attached to the top of the switch. Now
when the cap opened it would swing the Cam, moving the Cam Spring down pushing the
the switch on. Then when the Cap was closed it would reverse the process turning off
/ D0 C- [) i& d4 e$ S$ h$ z$ uthe switch. Well I put it all together....... and it worked! But not reliably. Well when I showed it
to the guys in black suits, they didn't like it. So I designed in Safety Pin. This pin arms the device.
