This is the first model and very likely, a Prototype, of the extremely rare attached Coke Bottles – Coca Cola advertisement Zippo lighters. These first models had a “Complete and Round” bottle attached. Soon they realized that it would snag in the pocket and they revised the attachment to a “Half” bottle. They are also very rare and highly coveted, however finding one of these incredibly rare “Full bottle” models is perhaps a one in a lifetime opportunity. Not only because they were made for such a short time and limited quantities, but because snagging detached the bottles of the few that were made.
This one survived without having been detached or re-attached! The backside also sports their early slogan: “Coke is Coca Cola” and it still retains most of its original colors. This rarer then rare lighter shows very gentle handling and only one minor nick that is hardly noticeable. It is apparent that it has had very limited use during its long (60+ years) life. The applied bottle is also in perfect condition. It has its original nickel insert with a strong humpback spring and the lid is tight. Even though this lighter belongs in a locked display case, to assure perfect working order, a new flint has been installed for your convenience.
